Ghislaine Revealed a Lot!
What she says she didn't see tells us what was going on.
Am I crazy, or is this from Ghislaine Maxwell completely not a denial that there were sexual shenanigans between Jeffery Epstein’s girls and bigshot third parties—ie. not Epstein himself—at his various properties? Seems closer to an admission.** You can decide for yourself. [It’s from pages 318-319 of Maxwell’s recent interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche]
4 [GHISLAINE MAXWELL:…] But to suggest that Larry Summers or
5 Clinton would certainly go, oh my gosh, this is like
6 a guy I'm going to get my body rubbed and have some
7 sex. They're men that went and had a massage and
8 maybe did something sexual, they're men, I wasn't in
9 the room. I cannot tell you if that happened.
10 And if it did, not -- I never paid for
11 that. Just so that we're clear. Nobody ever said to
12 me, oh, you know, we had sexual intercourse and that
13 was a three, uh-uh (negative). I'd be like, okay.
14 TMI, no, not my business. You want to -- it's just
15 not. And I didn't want to know. Maybe there's that.
16 But did I, like, think these guys were
17 coming for that? I really don't. If you met
18 Epstein, there is no way that this cast of
19 characters, of which it's extraordinary, and some are
20 in your cabinet, who you value as your coworkers, and
21 you know, would be with him if he was a creep or
22 because they wanted sexual favors. A man wants
23 sexual favors, he will find that. They didn't have
24 to come to Epstein for that.
25 Now did some? Okay. I don't know. I
1 wasn’t there. I didn’t see it.
This isn’t even Clintonesque legalism, or a non-denial denial. It’s pure Sgt. Schultz. She’s not denying that anything went on. You’d think she would if she could.
A person could run a nice influence/blackmail operation along these lines: 'We provide the venue. And the girls. Hey, what happens happens. TMI. I wasn’t in the room.’
Blanche immediately switched subjects.
_____
**— Not an admission about any particular individuals, including those mentioned. She just chooses them as examples of visiting bigshots (that she knows nothing about!).

This coincides with what I've come to suspect was the likely scenario of any blackmail that was happening related to Epstein. Travel to and activities at the Island were all very 'hush-hush' though not entirely secret. Everybody knew certain people were visiting and partying. Then somebody meets with Bigwig and decides to share some juicy gossip about some other person who was seen doing unusual things with an unusually young person at Epstein's Island. Bigwig doesn't really know what was going on with the other person but knows they were at the Island, and realizes that if somebody wants to spread similar rumors about them they have no way to refute the allegations of inappropriate behavior. So now they have a real good reason to do almost anything to keep Epstein or his associates from discussing what went on at the Island with anybody.
Welcome back Mickey, hope you're doing well!
